Im 62 now and have ridden my age 13 times this year, all part of the metric century a month challenge.

VERY impressive. That’s quite incomprehensible to me…..🙏

Miles cannot be done unless moving!

Costa Clyde.
This is the first year whereby I need to ride in excess of 100km to "ride my age in miles". My best effort this year so far has been 63.5 miles, so failed by half a mile to cycle my 64 years (to be fair, I was only trying to do 100km, and succeeded with that). I might have a go at it before the "summer" ends. Been the worst summer in memory though, so need to see. While all you south/east UK residents have been sweltering and running out of water, us north/western folk have had 1 good week in July, and the rest of the summer has been a complete washout. Bad, even by our low expectations; and running out of time to improve now.

Puzzle game procrastinator!
It dawned on me that I could add half an hour onto my forum ride on Saturday to achieve my 'age in miles' ride.

I will see how it goes. I might get my pal to drop me off 9 km up the Burnley Rd to make up the difference. It is an easy ride back from there - about 50 metres of draggy ascent, but then about 100 metres of nippy descent.

Decided to go for one today whilst up at daughters dearest in Fife. 72.29 miles a
long the NCN one. Rode from daughters to St Andrews then followed to Loch Leven then retraced and a loop to get miles in. Some very narley roads and a fair bit of gravel which was entertaining on 26mm slicks. My arms are more fatigued than my legs.

Not a chance.
I manage to ride my age but only the weekly total^_^
