31.6mm seatpost

Measured my seatpost and it’s 32mm. All the replacements are 31.6mm. Will they fit? I’m looking at a Cane Creek Thudbuster seat-post which is 27.2mm but it’s cheap. I can get a shim, any opinions on either of these queries are welcome and appreciated.

My Giant uses a standard 27.2 seat post with a shim. Don't know what the internal diameter of the seat post is, but not had a problem.
