Is everybody else enjoying the sizzling weather at the moment? This is expected to be the hottest day of the year around here, getting up to 37° by the late afternoon.
And why does everyone think you are mad to cycle in such weather, as in my experience if the going is fairly flat you actually keep relatively cool.

Got to admit, it was far cooler on the move on the ride yesterday morning than when we stopped. And it was probably around 32c on it's way to 35c then.

It's pissing down and blowing a gale here today, sun has just tried to come out, but there are more very dark clouds, I'll be working in Munich with a drive over the Alps to visit a new customer in just north of Verona next week, so should be a touch warmer.

I was cycling in 40° last week and found it too much though.

Not bleedy surprised either!

I thought I'd got it tough, yesterday was decidedly uncomfortable. Even at 11pm, it was 29c.

I was out on the M25 this morning in the Veyron and it was pretty nice. Lots of lovely girls ogled me.

Agreed, but round here 'flat' is a rare thing! Shady is a good substitute.
We've 26c today with a nice breeze, much better than yesterdays 30+c and no wind at all. If I went west to a lower altitude I know it would be sizzling.

Glad you're enjoying it but anything over 22C is too hot for me. I do think you're mad to cycle, anything above 30C and you can wilt just standing still.

I reckon 18c is about my ideal. Of late, going outside has been liking walking into a wall of heat. I can't handle that.
