4 inches of snow?

I stopped buying regular newspapers about 3 years ago. I find them so sensationalist. I'm even beginning to struggle with the local rags now TBH

Same here. Many newspapers are about selling, not reporting.

Today was going to be my first commute by bike, the freezing rain ensured all the local roads where icy enough to put me off. Will start once the ice and snow clear, no point it damaging low confidence on the roads before I start.

I've just been roped into taking the kids up the lanes in hills in the 4x4 this evening, I'd ber interested to see how much is left as it is all looking very white from where I can see. It can get fairly deep in places when it drifts.

Rode in this morning - just the cm of sheet ice that made things interesting on the estate. Just pushed the bike off that (about 200m) then cycled the rest!!
