A few, nothing quote that old.

My dad died a few weeks ago and I was having a search in cupboards, etc (as one does at such times) to look for long-forgotten things which suddenly become relevant - as well as dozens of "love letters" sent to my mum when dad was in the army (I didnae read them) I found many "Dinky" cars in their original boxes. Mum said that dad bought them when we we kids and decided to leave them at the back of the cupboard untouched in case they might "make money" some day.

I'd have had the wheels off them in seconds if he had given them to me!

Yes, I had one of those. Don't think I've seen it for about 38 years though so goodness knows where it is.

Didn't they do one where the doors opened? Or am I thinking of a different Dinky or Matchbox toy?
