3G here and even chose the 3G version of my phone. If I get a good 3G signal I can watch Cycling Streaming on the beach. Why would I need more speed. 4g is no use to me as I don't live or work near the city. I too would like better 3G.

To get it at the in-laws caravan, that means putting my S3 on the caravan roof and tethering to a tablet. Works great then, but try and get 3G at ground level, no chance till we get more inland near the main roads.

I've been on Exmoor a fair bit this weekend. No 3G at all, very limited 2G.

I did get it a couple of times but that was in towns outside the national park!

Part of O2's LTE (4G) offering includes a commitment to provide 98% (Indoor & outdoor) population coverage for 2G and 3G services by 2015 so by extension you might all get what you're after!

Personally, I can't wait for 4G - so much potential!

Having looked around a bit, Three seem to have the best deal for unlimited data at a good price. I've not heard much about them tho, or know many people that use the network. Are they ok or stay away?
