Why is it that when I brake from 50.01 mph on a very steep downhill I cant do it with no hands? What I mean is when I DO brake at that speed, my bicycle wobbles all over dramatically when I put my hands behind my head and whistle to the tune of "Oklahoma" (prefer if over West Side Story). Basically my bicycle is extremely unstable at braking on extreme declines. ****in ell!

Have you thought of staring to break at a lower speed? Going downhill I'm usually grabbing lever at about 20mph. I am somewhat heavier and less brave than I was 20 years ago.

What are you talking about, this can't be serious?? 50.01mph???

I'd struggle to control a bike at that speed as I lose balance if I'm going that slow. Stop tottering around and go faster(maybe get out of the granny gears?). No need to brake if you're going fast as everything will move out of your way or you'll just plow through it without noticing it.

Maybe.
