It's not nice.
Last time I was stung by a bee, it was on my noggin.

How long ago? The secret is to find an old syringe, put the nozzle over the sting and suck the poison out. This works a treat if you're quick enough.

OUCH a couple of years back I got stung on my tongue

The are best consumed dipped in chocolate. Takes the sting out of them.

I wonder how many people have vinegar and/or a syringe to hand when they are stung? ^_^

Was out cycling, decided to stop and sunbathe for a bit, I took shoes off and walked on the lovely freshly cut grass pushing my bike. Ouch! I thought I'd stood on a thorn, but when I crouched down and raised my foot to look for it, out flew a bee. I am utterly jazzed off. I really thought I'd get through my entire life without being stung. Another thing I've failed at.

If that was the bee that stung you, it's mastered immortality.

Sure it was a bee and not a wasp?

With regard to vinegar, on tour or in the days when I went out on dayrides alone and was well prepared, I carried a little pub sachet of vinegar in my first aid kit. I think it works on nettle stings too.
