I went with the S4 mini. Would have gone for the HTC One Mini but couldn't get on a reasonable deal..

What's that like, the wife wants that one ?????

I love it. Should bear in mind it's my first 'smartphone', but it's intuitive, nice size, no shortage of apps etc etc. Battery life is a couple of days of texting with zero apps, otherwise circa 24hrs with app use. No idea how this compares...
