1966, the year my sister was born.
I can still remember the day she was delivered at home. Dad took me over the road to stay with "Mrs Hodges", at the tender age of two, and wondering who this "new" sister was who had amazingly bought me a new Green Goddess model fire engine, to play with. Can vividly remember playing with the fire engine on Mrs Hodges window sill, whilst looking across at my own house wondering why I wasn't there.
Can't remember seeing new baby sister later in the day when I was collected and taken back over the road to meet her! Sister celebrated her 52nd birthday two weeks ago. Where does the time go?
