So did you ride 1,834 miles in the month of May? So over 31 days this would be 59.2 miles each day 7 days a week with no rest day. Now I ride 60 miles a day with panniers and I don't have the lightest road bike and as I say I am shagged after 5 days so for you to ride for 31 days 60 miles a day with no rest day is a tad optimistic and frankly I don't believe you. I once road 9 days in a row and was exhausted by day 7.

And I don't believe you cycle that much. So how about you put up too seeing as Uclown2002 has done .

So, now we have reached the half-way point, how is everyone doing in terms of their yearly goals?

My mileage target was 15K, and think I'll (barring unforseeen.....) manage that comfortably. ^_^

Thank you for not entering your efforts into MyCyclingLog and relegating me a place. ....

I've almost enough miles in the bank to not cycle from now until the end of August and still be on track for my target of 1 mile per hour. Pleased with this year so far but I know it will just make 2015 more difficult.....

I'm only at 2200km on strava. I've only been recording commuting once in a blue moon, and had a bad back for a lot of February and March. Now that Strava and myfitnesspal are integrated a bit, I'll be recording my commuting more regularly. It would probably add another 1200 km to that total so far. I'm two months ahead of last year, anyway, which is good.

Relegating us all a place!

I believe your mileage @uclown2002, though I do think you should take a few weeks off

85% complete and I only need to manage 4.5km a day between now and the end of the year to complete my 5500km target which was last year's total. I reckon I should manage that given I have a solo mini tour coming up in less than 2 weeks of 600km and then a 2 week tour in September of 1,050km plus the twice or three times a week 69km (41mile) commutes to my parents' home... and I have plans for an attempt on my first ever imperial century next week, weather/health/legs/lungs/... permitting.

Crankarm, all you have proved so far, is that you are unable/unwilling to read that small bar chart.
I managed to count the 31 days riding, so why did you choose to persist calling it 18 days?

There are lots of retirees doing 10,000 miles plus per year. I imagine a few 70+ year olds do 20,000+ too.
I'd say that the thing that first slows down is speed.
