Slams and Triple Crowns being the only things that mattered. And no trophy bar the Calcutta Cup. That is what I long to return to. None of this hyped up Champions bollox. If you are tied on points you didnt win. Get over it.

But beer parties of like minded souls, plenty of Celts, at home in front of the telly, "why is our anthem such shite and theirs so stirring?" is our plan for RWC 2015.

Not so sure about the beer, Gregorius...unless it is Kernel or somesuch, of course. Kir, Fleurie, some prosecco etc for the group matches, followed by some platesful of cheese and big Borgognes for the knockout stages. Mmmmmm. Definitely NO South African, NZ or Australian (except Waitrose Barossa shiraz - on offer at the moment at £8.99 btw).
Will you be having prawn sandwiches?
Don't know why I'm being so choosy - I haven't even got a telly!

True to form, I got bored and stopped caring about this.

However, I'm looking forward to Saturday and will tot up scores this evening so everyone knows where they stand going into tomorrow.

My predictions are as follows:

Italy 6 - 35 Wales
Scotland 15 - 10 Ireland
England 20 - 22 France
