maybe its time for a two tier six nations with relegation for the bottom side, Italy are going no where, this long term plan seems to have no end, its nearly 20 years, even Georgia are ranked higher with Romania and Russia just behind them, at least it will give the other nationals something to play for, which should improve their all round standard and hopefully give Italy a kick up the arse which is needed.

Broadly I agree. Italy have had some class players over the years but never improved as a national side. I'd go back to the 5 Nations with perhaps a qualifying pool of Georgia, Russia, Romania and Italy. If geography was no object I'd include Canada and the USA in that group too.

Not the way I saw it. They were dominant for all but 10 or 15 minutes of the game, but simply didn't score.
By dominant I assume you mean not playing within the laws and hoping dangerous play wasn’t spotted . The high tackles got pinged . Eventually

Time zones are important. Look at the traveling times that NZ and Argentina have to put up with in the Southern Hemisphere.
The away fans have a big part to play in making the stadium atmosphere. How many would travel to Canada or Russia?

I agree. Argentina in particular have suffered.

Jesus H. Really?

Perhaps you'll be able to point to a team which has never been penalised. If you can't, perhaps you might rethink your logic.

I've watched the re-run of the disputed try over and over. I find it difficult to differentiate between the two players involved as to who touched first.
A question for those that KNOW about these things. Is there an understanding that referees favour the depending or attacking side in such circumstances?
