MapMyRide once failed to log the first 20 or so miles of a ride and then suddenly started working again, giving me a travel time between the two points of 0.01 seconds and an average speed of 15,000+mph (24,140+kph). Which was impressive, even by my usual standards.

Sadly it then closed itself down before I could get a screen cap and has since refused to acknowledge that ride ever happened....

I rode around the world once in under ten seconds...at the South Pole. I was on assignment at the base there and had access to a mountain bike and rode around the pole itself, through every line of longitude, in under ten seconds. Eat your heart out Mark Beaumont....

Put a nicotine patch on your knees .it will eventually stop your legs smoking.

I've got a bike with that gearing too, the bike itself is the usual size, but the gears are so big the bike has to be stored in a big hangar. I go through about 1,000 litres of lube every week.
