So i thought i'd just roll up and give this ride a crack....but 80,000 of us seem to have got in there first lol! Guess cycling really is the new rock n roll

80,000 applicants, 24,000 accepted, they expect 20-22,000 to take part. The ballot was in November / December I think?

Interesting - I had to pull out of the 2014 ride, and get an automatic bye into 2015, the period for me to confirm is one week in October
