Hi there,
Joined up some months ago but only recently have I read threads and posted anything - total avoidance tactics as I should be completing assignments...!
Must admit that I am quite surprised at how quickly some threads can deteriorate into cyclist vs cyclist - what a shame.
Anyway, got into cycling because of OH - he knew if I cycled too he could get away with doing little cycling events like PBP and UK audax's/timetrials/hillclimbs...hmmmm!
I have a few rides but my pride and joy is my commuter, a frame I built on a Dave Yates course last summer on which I fitted disk brakes. She's a beauty.
Completed a three month cycle tour in Europe in 2010 - wild camping - and another four week one planned for this summer. Thoroughly recommend it and am totally addicted. Roll on July yippee.
