I don't get tandem riding. It's anti social and rude no matter what orientation the riders choose to adopt.

Now here's a better tandem design - you can actually see each other's faces when conversing.

If I had one I'd have it modified with a two meter cantilever so that my petite wife stands some chance of counterbalancing me.

Only someone who's never tried it could possibly say something so wrong.

The main problem I've got with all these "clever" bikes is that they must be pretty mechanically inefficient.
