I came across this as I was enjoying my breakfast, an article about a man who took up touring (and other bike related activities) on his retirement. I thought it was a lovely read especially his inspiration as a six year old!

"There is peace on a bicycle,” he says. “The joy is the actual doing of the activity. Going further means you’re just doing more of something you enjoy.”
