Thanks to some potential reach issues with the bars on my new ride, research into alternatives has been feverish.

On my travels I've come across two excellent sites for overviews on what's available (no idea how complete they are but they certainly contain a lot of information):

Bikepacking.com: Loads of info on gravel bars with summaries, dims costs (US) and throughts. Good discourse on the background and benefits of this format too.
Whatbars.com: A site for all bars, where users can submit their own measurements to the database, which gives a nice scaled plan view of selected bars for easy comparison.

Hope these might be of use to some :smile:

I just buy dropped bars that are the right width!
In its most basic form just drops with a flare to give more bar width and control over uneven terrain; which as skeptical as I was initially is great in use :smile:
