A day of celebration

Not only is it Australia Day today, but apparantly it is 'I must get in front of the cyclist Day' as well. On this morning's commute I was enthralled and entertained with ridiculous overtaking and close passing on many occasions, just so the motorists in question could beat me to the red light or queue of traffic 50 yards ahead, or make that left turn 5 seconds quicker than if they waited for me to pass the junction.

I think Clinton Cards might be selling cards and badges to celebrate the day. I have my 'I got cut up today' badge prudly displayed on my lapel!!

Yep, same here.
I've noticed that since the snow went the standard of driving has dropped. Not sure if it's a coincidence or not.
Yetserday i had a double glazing van cut me up at a t-junction, he left it that late that he was actually pointed to the left at the junction and he was turning right.
Then a Lux traffic management van nearly wiped me out near Dorridge. I heard him coming and managed to get out of the way.
