Just bought an S-bag... Solved a potential luggage crisis... My "daily driver" T-bag seems likely to see its upcoming 8th birthday soon in good order, so I have every expectation of a bag that won't even be used every time I ride the "sunny days" bike will last ages... And they fetch that price secondhand....

That was my thinking. I don't need an S bag, but it'll be nice to try one and if I decide to sell it in 6 months I doubt I'll lose money.

I've just bought an S5EX (rebuilt back wheel with a Sturmey 5-speed), and although I doubt I'll do the shopping on it the way I can on my H11R (Alfine) or T8 (Sturmey) as they will take both a T-Bag and a Racksac, it will be helpful to have some sort of bag option available.

The S bag arrived today and it appears to be a very well made bit of kit - it's basically a laptop bag / briefcase with a few cycling specific design details.

As @Cycleops says, at £55 it's almost a reasonable price!
