A good bike light for mtb through forest

Hi guys, looking for a good light for mtb through the forest at nighttime , for about 2 hours, any ideas

I like my Hope Vision 1. Not too pricey (I think I got mine for about £50), pretty bright, and should get about 3-4 hours out of a set of batteries on full power. Runs on 4x AA too, so you can carry a spare set of batteries if you're out for longer than that.

Depends on your budget. If you've got a few pennies to spare take a look at the Exposure range, the Diablo is brilliant as either a helmet or handlebar mounted light.

Take care with the lights you're buying. A couple of the cheapie chargers that I've had with cheapie lights have caused problems. NEVER leave them unattended, seriously, don't. I've had one melt and one explode. The explosive one wasn't fun. Buy from a reputable supplier, a few extra quid must surely be worth it for your house or life.

I now only use my good uk lights and batteries, the headlamp units from cheap sets still work with other battery kits.

Nice commuter light, but way outgunned by a lot of Cree big-hitters

Yes be aware, as has been said just don't leave Chinese chargers unattended, mine have been fine but you do hear horror stories. A mate has bought the cheap Chinese lights, threw the chargers in the bin and bought more expensive and safe UK chargers - works.
