As I have aforementioned, Mrs Drago has multiple sclerosis. One of the problems she has is a persistent bad back.

So that's all the excuse I needed to buy a water bed. Just finished assembling and filling it. Soooooo comfy. If I don't post til lunchtime tomorrow you know I couldn't bring myself to get out of bed.

I have slept on one, it was lovely. It wasn't fully wobbly, like sleeping on a jelly, it was what they called 'medium' and had something inside that stopped a lot of the sloshing about of the water. Warm too, the water I mean.

I hope that Mrs Drago gets a lot of help from it.

I dont recall reading that about Mrs Drago. I do hope the new bed gives the needed help.
Mine and Mrs Dave's best wishes to you both.

Laying in bed now surfing the web. So so comfy. You can tinker with the water temperature too, so will be nice and warm in winter and cool in summer.

Long years ago, myself and a girl friend were escorted from Fenwicks in Newcastle for "testing" a water bed.The fact that my actual girlfriend was present,as was Gills brother, and the fact that Fenwicks is most definitely not "that" sort of place, may lead you to assume, correctly that we were merely bouncing about.Good fun it was,but not the sort of behaviour the management wished to encourage, particularly in a family shopping environment. So in came the heavies and next thing,we were back on Northumberland St.....just the two of us! But I often wonder how many accounts from Darras Hall were closed that afternoon.
