Following the front page press coverage of the defeats in football, rugby and F1 a couple of weeks ago I thought it'd be a good time to comment on the good results seen this weekend ;) As has already been mentioned, Paula Radcliffe had a fantastic win in the New York Marathon and made several front page headlines. Joe Calzaghe beat Mikkel Kessler in the ealry hours of Sunday morning along with stable mate Enzo Maccarinelli. Finally the Great Britain rugby league team thumped the kiwis in the second test to record their first test series win for 14 years. Overall a good weekend for british sport. Anything else happen?
  2. An Englishman, (A rose by any other name...) won a game of sticks tapping balls into holey turf - I believe..?
