A pal’s elderly grandmother ventured out on Christmas eve to deliver some christmas cards to her neighbours.
When she got to the end of her garden path, she slipped on the ice and fell, face first, into the concrete path.
She’s lying, dazed and bleeding from the face, on her path. She was quite upset - mainly because the christmas cards she was delivering were covered in blood, and she’d have to re-do them.
While she’s lying on the ground, a delivery courier passed. He stopped and went over to her gate.
“Are you OK there?"
“Yes, I think so, I’m bleeding but I don’t think anything’s broken”
“Do you want me to phone for an ambulance?"
“No, I don’t think I need that"
“Can you take a parcel for next door...."
