Oddly enough the T shirt from that marathon made its way to the surface of my T shirt jumble last weekend so I wore it.

New Forest Marathon 2000

Once was enough

New Forest was my " jinx " Marathon, always had a bad one. I think there was a pub on the course, a few miles from the finish. The last time I ran it there were a few club mates spectating outside so I sent one in to get me a pint of Guinness before bimbling to the finish. 🍺

My better half did a half marathon with wine tasting in the local vineyard. Website to the event: The Bacchus Run

Sounds like fun, apparently wasn't.

I’ve looked at doing that one.
But it’s run on a vine yard on the north downs, so very hilly.
Plus I think it’s quite expensive.
