Pat, having given his fortune to one of his sons, was sitting in his hotel room when there is a knock at the door. He opens the door to see a man whom he'd had never seen before. Who said "oh I'm sorry, I've made a mistake, I thought this was my room." The man turned left, went down the corridor and into the lift. Pat went back into the room and phoned security.

What made Pat so suspicious that he called security?

Pat has hired the whole hotel for a party and only invited people he knows.
Or the door, the corridor and the lift on the left are inside's Pat's suite.
Or he recognised the man by his voice as the man who'd phoned up a death threat against him yesterday.
