Hi folks. Just signed up. My interest is in low end cycles of the 40's to 80s broadly. I have a 49 Raleigh Sports unrestored but serviced and ridden. A late 70's early 80's Vindec Ventura and a 1979 Marlboro Sabre. All in original paint and decals. All ridden though not huge distances. I am a bit of a day tour cyclist. Just sold my Falcon Sprint in preference to my Marlboro which apart from feeling right, has a fascinating last owner history. Room is critical! Vindec and Marlboro were both made at Brown Brothers Cycles Darlaston. Any ideas of the actual dates of manufacture of these last two? I only have researched estimates. Cheers all.
