Are these Enfields "real" or are they badge engineered jobs? I always notice an Enfield fitted with an engine on the rare occasion I see one out on the road, but I can't say I'm familiar with Enfield push bikes though.

Enfield started off making Bikes before Motorcycles, another gun maker similar to BSA (British Small Arms)

The one I bought was advertised as a revelation it wasn't but bought it anyway I've only seen one revelation in the flesh and would love to have one but a bit out of my range

Enfield had stopped making bikes by the time I got into bikes in the 70's. I wonder if Brown Brothers bought the name?

That's what I was getting at. There were/are plenty of brand names still being stuck on bikes, where the original manufacturer and the factory where they were made, is long gone. In the early 80s, when I had a Raleigh racer, one of kids I used to hang around with got a new BSA racer. It was virtually identical in every respect, other than I remember mine had Weinmann alloy brake calipers (with suicide levers of course!) and his ones were chromed steel. It might have had a different headbadge, but I wouldn't mind betting it came off the same production line.
