Taken yesterday evening around a local park. It looks fairly wide enough to get a pram or a buggy through, but definitely not a mobility scooter!

My mutt is a Jack Russell/Shi Tzu, so you can see how narrow it really was!

Next time you pick up your dogs poop you should save a nugget to wedge behind the drivers door handle.

This particular road is always like this, on my commute route through Cardiff.

Those dotted lines are supposed to mark out the parking area, but in fact the are between the lines and the parked cars turns into a de-facto cycle lane, so as a cyclist, I don't mind. And there is still plenty of room to get pushair, mob ility scooters etc. past on the pavement.

I would, as riding in it looks like an easy wey to get doored. Take the lane, until they build a real, decent cycleway.

Most of the time I am riding in kit, traffic is overtaking me, not stopped in the main lane. But then getting close to the traffic lights, when it is stopped, I would also have to stop if I didn't use that.

If I see somebody parking ahead of me, or getting into a car, then I would be very wary and careful passing that car.

I read of one person who had a bunch of notes to put under wipers apologising for scratching their car when he passed but saying it was OK because you could hardly see it

he was very careful never to actually scratch it - or leave contact details of any kind

he then just left imagining them spending ages trying to find the scratch that wasn;t there

all of which is clearly immoral and I am certainly not recommencing it at all

OTOH I see a big pole there. A large chain through a wheel plus a big padlock?
What you can't see is the cameras on his house, to the right. There's no way of approaching it without being caught on them.

Regarding the above photos, they don't leave that tiny gap for the likes of me to squeeze through. They leave it for any passengers to be able to get in and out the vehicle! If they aren't carrying a passenger they tend to park on the whole fecking pavement!!!:cursing:
