Hamtun Town this afternoon..
Just cos the car park's closed it doesn't mean you can't put some watts in the tank 😂

As bad as one local, to me, ex examiner who drives onto the pavement in the town centre, to get to the cash machine, without getting out.

This chap would have caused less danger to peds wanting to walk past (it's a fairly busy two-way street) if he'd parked parallel to the charging point..
Still dumbass, but slightly safer to pass.

Absolutely stupid way to "park", but what the hell is a charging point doing where you can't park?

When this photo was taken, the car park was closed and fenced off. In other times, when the car park is open, the charging station is facing inwards to the electric charging bay. It looks like this when the car park is open.

What @Seevio says..
As the car park is closed for several years during the demolition of the old M&S, & building of flats, I'm surprised the charging point hasn't been turned off.

Thanks both. That makes sense - though as Pete says, it should really be turned off while it is inaccessible from the proper side.

I've just been skipping through old photos on my phone and found these. It's exactly five years ago today (14th Oct' 2020) since I took these photos. They still make me seeth looking at them!🤬 I remember the car being there when I took my dog up to the local park and it was still there 2 hours later! 🤬
