A Perambulation...

...of 15.5 miles today. We were beating the bounds of the parish of Brentor for the first time in 29 years.

As is normal when trying to follow such a boundary, there are many ups and downs.

This taught me very forcefully, over nearly a whole day, that my lack of hill-climbing prowess is solely down to excess poundage.

Even my super-duper granny gears are only going to help so much...

Ouch.

The Perambulation took us to the White Lady Fall at Lydford Gorge. Damn steep climb out of that...
