I like the artwork anyway, and some of it can look very striking on the telly, especially the really colourful scenes or the ones involving the sky (hence why I noticed it in the first place).

If you want to know what they are about, they are African stories... fables about things such as how the elephant got its trunk, where the frog and crow got their croak and crowing noises (at the same time), why the hippo lives in the water, etc etc, and just generally how the different animals find their place/purpose in the world.

Anyway, sorry for hijacking the thread.

Oh I saw that yesterday, I learned how the Elephant was smelly until the grumpy croc stretched his nose :nods:

I have two children and yet i feel as though i've just stepped into a VW bus and been given acid from a friendly looking hippy..

my youngest never bothered with things like this, thankfully he latched onto disney jr my eldest used to like the tweenies tho.
i'm glad they're older, spider man, avengers, phineas and ferb etc. all good.

A few years ago when the program first became popular I was in my local Boots and there was a whole row of Makka Pakka shower gels - I turned the bodies 180 degrees, keeping the head as was.

All looked very rude, but only to us grown-ups. :biggrin:
