The harm (assuming you want the Sun to stay in business) is that failure to remove non paying product identification would potentially reduce income and put the future of the publication at risk.

How the hell can a positive story about a little girl taking up cycling end up in an argument about the Sun making a profit?

We were disappointed that even after the The Sun spent a good 20 minutes speaking with me about the trike they didn't even mention us.

Can we leave it at that please?

I am delighted the little girl got her trike , it will make such a difference to her life.
I notice that Googling the relevant keywords to this story now returns this thread high up in its results , so anybody wanting to find out who made the trike should have no problem finding Cyclemagic.
