A Stuck Frog

You need to get some lady frogs (or gentleman frogs, I can't be bothered google which gender croaks) to lure him/her out.

(yeah, it's midnight friday. so this isn't a useful solution)

Edit: going to check my pond for frogs.

Edit 2: it is cold and windy out there, and there are no frogs.

Have you got a large soup ladle? Tie string to the handle of the ladle and lower it down to the side away from the frog. You could then manouevre it under the frog, and gently pull the ladle up. You might need to bend the ladle so that the scoop part is at right angle to the handle.

Or lower down a hat, one of those with a stiff peak. Again attach long strong string to the peak and guide it to under the frog. Or suspend the hat so that the frog falls into it, or something like that.

I can't really see what it is he's stuck in - but can't you block the bottom, fill it with water, and float the frog to the top?

This is what i'd try. Just a little bit at a time though. He might be somehow stuck to the side and drown if he can't float.
