Anyway, another random thought I just had whilst being subjected to Strictly Come Dancing for a few minutes earlier:

Eh, we all (about 6 of us) looked at each other.. ..go on then Ron ?

'Well if they did, and they came to earth and saw us playing football, they'd think we were kicking 7 bells out of one of them!!!!'

Here's a thought...
We all wonder if we are the only life in space. Well suppose our entire universe is an infantessimaly small dot in someone elses universe. Our universe would be so small, fractions of atoms in size in relation to theirs, they could be all around us, walking on our universe, walking all over us...and neither would ever know the other was there.

Is it a theme in that as well ???
I always thought the parallel universe theme i was talking about was something i thought of unaided, although others have obviously had the same thought, as previously noted.
I'm beginning to wonder if the idea was unknowingly implated by something ive seen or read deep deep in the past....and long since forgotten about.

I do remember sat at the side of the road as an under 10 year old in the late 60s, watching occasional cars go past (there were far far fewer cars then), and thinking...i wonder what happens to the exhaust fumes (car exhausts were smellier then,) and will the atmosphere become full of the fumes. A bit prophetic for a sub 10 year old !!!

So how DO you make a kitchen worktop follow a wavy wall?

Push the back edge of the worktop within a pencil length from the wall then follow the wall contours with the end of the pencil so that you can make a visible mark on the surface of the worktop and use a jigsaw to cut the wavy edge which should exactly match the wall profile.
