I last had one in about '91.
The chip shop round the corner from work did a spam fritter and chips for £1.
"Oh" thought I. "I've not had one of those for years!"
One bite and I discovered why. It was truly horrid.

This just occured to me today as I had an in-depth conversation with my 4 year-old - if the plural of goose is geese why isn't the plural of moose meese?
