I posted this in another thread just the other day, but I think it fits the 'awesomeness' requirements of the thread title.
Awesome countryside (which I cycle through myself, fairly regularly)

what a great little film. looks like a beautiful spot!

exactly the kind of thing this thread needs!

ok so this really is my last one for today (actually there is one more I want to pop on here if I can find it...). if you haven't seen this you need to, it makes me poo a little just watching it!

The title is 77mph, I think it's KPH, still scary quick and dangerous on a public road. Awesome though!

The guy in this video outed himself on another cycling site a while back. It turned out, the bike/tyres and gearing he was on were in no way capable of 77mph(no fecal matter sherlock) - the computer head unit is non existant and the one that was reportedly used was on the bike in front...

The same computer units were known to be faulty and often read 77mph/kph whilst not moving.

With reference to an ealier post of Kirkstone pass; I'm not sure it counts as awesomeness in the grand scheme of things but I thought it cackypants scary at the time

This is me going down Kirkstone Pass on the 18th October last year, on my Whyte Coniston Hybrid

Top speed 42.1 mph.

I don't care what anyone says that is fast on a bicycle.

Military ranges at a guess?

A red flag night is more spectacular at least they were up by Catterick/Leyburn
