A few weeks ago i noticed one of our neighbours had a serious garden problem,overgrowing branches and those runner things out of control.Well i filled her brown bin and part of ours.This afternoon.she has brought round three bottles of beer and some chocolates,how kind is that.Now i want to do more for her,but i am not as fit as i think i am,so sadly i won't be doing anymore tasks apart from nipping off the new overhanging suckers,but what a fabulous gesture.

On a serious note - rare for me - its good to help out the neighbours. Aside from being its own reward it sometimes brings tangible rewards as Postie describes.
