We went to Gomera thirty five years ago and stayed in a stables. Do they still whistle across the canyons to communicate with each other? You might like to seek out the tiny restaurant where the local horizontales tried to get into the wallets ( and elsewhere ) of the visiting Spanish navy. Great fun
