Looks lovely. I was in Whitby a couple of weeks ago. The weather was glorious and I was commenting how beautiful the light and colours are in Whitby when it's sunny. Seems to be a special quality to the light.

I moved to Whitby almost 40 years ago and have never regretted it. The only problem as a cyclist are the hills. I am a little past the first flush of youth and it takes me a little while to loosen up and of course the loosening up period is a climb of 800 or 900 ft in the first 3 miles. It is well worth it though.
