A23 South before Merstham

Hi,

Crazy trying to get across the lane where cars are doing 50+ to join M23/M25 just before Merstham. How can this be done safely? Or, is it just a case of try your luck…

Anyone know of good safe alternatives from Coulsdon to Reigate?

Take the right lane, pedal like f**k and pray. At least you won't get left hooked.

Not something I like to do very often. Otherwise its up Portnalls and down Reigate Hill which is always a bit of a thrill. Coming back is not too bad except for that pinch point opposite Starbucks.
