Yeah, that story infers the driver had the car taken away from him because he could not afford to tax the car whereas it seems it was taken away due to unsocial driving for the third time. It is hard to believe someone who used a car of that price cannot afford to pay the tax on it. I saw a lot of adverts pop up on that website. Nice car.

I wasn't sure which bit we were laughing at him for. The OP left a lot open to interpretation.

The headline wouldn't have had the same appeal if "Man gets fast car taken from him for constantly driving like an entitled tool"

I didn't think they could impound the car for anti social driving but they can for no tax? Or clamp it.

Bit hard to clamp it in South Mimms as this was likely on the dual carriageway to the M1 so maybe it was seized?
I'm sure he will pay the tax to recover the car, just that he doesn't like having to pay.

I remember hearing a story about the son of a rich Dubai oil baron racking up almost half a million pounds in congestion fees and unpaid parking tickets with his gold plated Lamborghini. Either Westminster City Council, TRBoK&C or the Gov eventually found his car parked unattended, impounded it and sent a letter to him asking that he settle his out standing tab otherwise the vehicle would be made into a posh coffee table.

This guy simply didnt care :laugh: He told them to crush it. His dad will send him another from Dubai in two weeks.:laugh:
