All apart from X and Z are animal related so far A return trip to the Zebra would be 504 miles, but I'm not quite that dedicated

My next letter is 'U'. The nearest I've found is 40 miles away - an 80 mile round trip, which is beyond me. I may take the train out and cycle back.

U was fairly easy for me, as it was a café I ride past every time I go through Llantwit Major, which is at least a couple of times a month.

X (or EX) is trickier. I thought there was a café expresso (that is what it calls itself on Facebook), but the name on the café frontage is actually café espresso

There is a Café Express in Port Talbot, that I have actually cycled past once, but that is quite a long day out. Otherwise, I suppose I could use a Pizza Express, but that somehow doesn't "feel" right.

I cycled to the station.
Got the train to Exeter.
Took a photo.
Had a second breakfast.
Cycled the long, hilly way home.

It was a great day out; I had a close encounter with a buzzard, saw a kingfisher and heard skylarks for the first time in years.

An animal related J was a bit tricky, again nationally I found a Jackdaw, Jack Rabbit and a Jenny Wren, but none within cycling distance. As human beings are animals, some more than others I've gone with jockey, well two of them to be precise

Cat and Lion - Stretton.
Originally a coaching house built in the early c17th, it is amazing it has survived given the Council's seeming predilection to allow bulldozers to old buildings.

I could also have bagged an unexpected M, but I'll save that for (hopefully) a ride on Sunday.
