My mate's mum was a Witness. She had a serious health problem which required a transfusion to save her life. Several fellow Witnesses visited her every day to 'keep her faith strong' and refuse the treatment. It worked - she died of the curable condition a few days later.

My friend had been going along with his mum to the local Kingdom Hall every week but not one of the Witnesses got in touch to see how he was after she died. Nice!
