Coming home tonight in my car.
Going up Yarborough Hill in Lincoln, and I can see blue flashing lights of a police car turning round in the road and parking up.
As I rounded the turn I saw a car with it's front all smashed in.
There were no other damaged cars in the vicinity so I couldn't work out what he/she had hit.
Then I saw a cycle laid on the pavement with it's lights still flashing, and my heart sank.
The cycle still looked like a cycle from what I could see and not obviously damaged, so maybe it wasn't involved. But there were bits on the road that looked like they were once part of a cycle (mudguards etc). Maybe there was another cycle somewhere that was involved and the one on the pavement was a fellow cyclist who had stopped to help.
I hope I am wrong and a cyclist was not involved. Fingers crossed.
