Baby pink doesn't do it for me either - and I'm a girl!
My wrists are too small to pull off wearing a chrono, but if they weren't, I'd be sticking to one of the more classic colour combos. OK, I quite like 70s funky e.g. Seiko Pogue (yellow dial, pepsi bezel), but you can get away with that *BECAUSE* it's funky!
