Accomodation in North Uist

Anyone have any recommendations? It's for April. Preferably walking distance to an ale house of some description.

Have to cycle for an early morning ferry from Berneray the following morning, so as North as poss.

Berneray hostel is great but if you prefer B & B http://www.isleofberneray.com/
Don't think there is a pub nearby so buy whatever you want the way and enjoy it in the hostel or on the beach (weather permitting).

Berneray Gatliffe trust hostel is most convenient.
There's a shop that sells bottles of beer between the hostel and the ferry (Sundays permitting).

There's the Lochmaddy Hotel, and a pub at Kirkibost. The Carinish Inn at the south side of N.Uist has been sold to the free church.
Then there's a couple of hotels on Benbecula (Liniclate & Creagorry)
