Never seen the film, I take it it's junk?

Well, they can make bullets go round corners by flicking the wrist when shooting people! and Mrs Brad Pitt can spin a dodge viper at 100mph with the door open to scoop up James McAvoy who slips comfortably into the passenger seat...

Its a genuine and realistic.... honest!

sweeney Todd with Johnny Depp, Alan Rickman....

...and Helena Bonham-Carter...

because it's a musical, and as far as I'm concerned, works beautifully!

Also, My cousin Vinny, with Joe Pesci......humour, as well as NYC mafiosi-ness (?)

She is IMO pretty underated and with exception of planet of the apes has been great in most she does (although I think her husband may 'help' her performances)

Depp and Rickman are pretty much gold in all they touch too.

Colin Farrell in 'In Bruges'

Really can't watch Farrell in anything... but watched this on a flight home...and very suprised to find myself absorbed in a wonderful movie. Also stars Brendan Gleeson & a hilariously over the top performance by Ralph Feinnes. The interplay between the three is brilliantly acted.

love Jim Carrey, think he's got the most awesome strangeness about him and I love anything he's in. He's a good actor.

I thought she was good in this - the clipped, stiff Britishness of her character made her seem less wooden. GREAT dress too.

I was most surprised by Ben Kingsley when he played a mafia godfather in Buggsy. He was Warren Beatty's boss. Warren Beatty's character was getting Las Vegas started and was incurring cost overruns IIRC. Ben Kingsley was really scary and totally believable. I's only seen him as Ghandi before that. I thought he was really good as a different sort of gangster in Sexy Beast too.
