It's that time of year again when I am told I need to write a "present list" and yet again I find myself thinking I am still a cyclist despite many years of contrary evidence. I came up with a few ideas and searched online and found www.acycles.co.uk were best priced for a few of them. I've never heard of them before, so looking for views from those who have bought before.

Hadn't realised they were 'not uk' as they had a '.co.uk' address

They're in France although as you say they like to pretend they're in the U.K and hide their address in the Ts&Cs.

I'd get from Evans etc if there's only a small price difference (esp when you add postage/returns)

Having read that thread I think I shall progress with the order (for veloflex tyres), or more accurately point Mrs M in their direction so I get new tyres for Christmas

Ribble often have veloflex at a good price... remember to order a spare set of thumbs as well
